The baggage people are good to watch your stuff. My buddy and I will give them our dive gear after diving and go get food and drink. Although our last trip the closed at 7:30pm instead of 8:30pm. They also raised the price to $40.
Here is the policy as of May 2011: Special Luggage Information
At the bottom it states Note: Returning suits that return wet are not an issue and will be permitted aboard.
I think this weight rule sucks because my buddy and I have a packing system and we always follow the rules of one trip...
Did my honeymoon on the Rorqual in 2004 and it was my first liveaboard. I hope they come back as a liveaboard. I would really like to dive with them again.
This really sucks considering, my husband and I have a system packing both our scuba gear in one dive bag and getting everything on the boat in one trip. None of the crew handles any of our luggage. I see the crew putting luggage on the boat and helping people take luggage off when they have...
I been on the Rorqual twice and enjoyed both times. If you get the boat back in the water then my husband/buddy will be back. I am going to start saving the money for the trip.

Scuba has not took the place of anything for me. It added more to my life. My buddy is my husband and a great person to be around. Vacations are not just vacations, they are now dive vacations.
