    Cozumel Rookie

I'm the same. When mostly drifting, I just get a bit chilly (especially fingers) halfway thru my second dive, even with a 3mm thermoprene. Everyone's different tho, my wife was fine in a worn 3mm shorty. Btw, I was in Coz last week and while we had 28-29º water temps early in the week, after...

night dives in Turks and Caicos?

I did 9 days of diving in GT last February. We had a night dive on deck on our last day, but seas was a bit rough, and vis was expected to be not great, so we cancelled on advice of Mitch at Blue Water. That said, I've heard it's great and The Wall comes alive with many large Red Spider Crabs...

Airline to use betweeen Provo and Grand Turk?

I used Air Turks & Caicos in Feb, no issues. I think it's your best bet with the most flights in and out each day. Expect puddle jumpers that can be a bit rattley, but I had smooth flights to and from. Welcome to Air Turks And Caicos

    Grand Turk diving

I dove with Blue Water in Feb. Great stuff. Same for Sand Bar. RE Osprey, during my week stay, while I really liked the walk-out rooms that were so close to the beach and waves, the food and service got really tiresome. Had a couple dinners at Bohio and it was night and day. I'll probably stay...

Osprey Beach Hotel & Dining in Grand Turk

Ditto on Sandbar. I had good food and drink there. Just a shack with a tiny bar and kitchen with a deck with some tables but a great place right over the waves. A good lunch or nightcap spot. I enjoy my beer, and was pleased with both the Turks Head lager and a surprisingly good ale.

Osprey Beach Hotel & Dining in Grand Turk

I was at Osprey for a week in Feb. Only one restaurant at Osprey, food is OK, but not cheap (most places aren't), and the service left a lot to be desired when we where there. I'd have to say food and service were quite better at Bohio on the 2 nights we dined there. But we had a nice stay, and...

    Turks and Cacos Turtles?

FWIW, I was in GT 2 weeks ago diving for a week and saw at least a half-dozen hawksbills, one that the DM was almost petting. I'm pretty sure they cruise around and graze at most dive sites along the wall. Not sure if any one site is a sure bet, I guess you take your chances, but the DMs at Blue...

    Bohio Dive Resort

Just a few things if I may clear up, since I was just there. Oasis does have a part of their operation down South in the Jack's Shack bar/grill space that could service the cruise ships, but their main spot is in Cockburn town and I saw the morning dive groups gather there– none were...

    Bohio Dive Resort

Hello, I'm new here just registered and saw your post. I just got certified in Grand Turk...I joined my fairly-experienced bro-in-law and nephew for a week of great diving two weeks ago. His first choice was to stay at Bohio, but they were booked with some groups and we stayed at Osprey Beach...
