My wife and I dove Natural Springs this past season. It was pretty nice, as far as shallower Ohio quarry diving goes. It is a decent size and the lines aren't to hard to follow. Depth was around 20-25', deeper if go down into the trench - but that was a little to cold for us. We would go back.
I was in a similiar situation about a year or so ago. After debating the rent vs. buy, it became time to decide what to buy.
Honestly, I didn't really even look at Halycon. The higher price for a first-time rig made it unjustifiable to me.
For me the choice was between Diverite and...
I just called. I missed the gentlemans name that I spoke to, but he was pretty friendly.
He had me email him my question. When I hear back I will repost with the size.
Hello,
I tried searching but didn't see what I was looking for. Does anyone know the correct size o-ring for D1 first stage regulator? From what I've found, the common for size for a DIN regulator is 112; however some are 111. I would just like to make sure I get the right size the first...
I would never complain about that cert. I've been taught to make beautiful baskets from kelp. :) In fact, I may go for the instructor course on that one.
Not an educator, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!!
I am actually surprised that there isn't a specialty for diving doubles. With all of the other specialties out there, that would seem like a good one too. Learn different ways of setting them up, function/operation of the...
I would pretty much agree with that for air and any banked nitrox blends. If I was wanting a percentage that would need to be mixed, then I would expect to have to leave my tanks.
I'll say hello too!!
But my goodness, I can't believe no one has commented on the coolness of the name of where you're at!!??
Q: Where are you from?
A: Phuket
:)
Mine shipped out Tuesday (thanks DRIS and Heather), as my D1 cold and dual D1 seconds just showed up yesterday!! :) Just have to wait till next weekend before I can try them out. :(
Having just started into my diving adventures I am obviously not a "professional" at this point.
That said, if one were interested in becoming a "professional" in the sport of diving, why would one stop at Dive Master rating, and not continue right on to the instructor level? I've heard on...
Most of the brand names top regulators are more top $$ (from what I saw researching anyway). Take a look at the HOG (din) or Edge (yoke) if you want good performance at a lower price.
Thanks for the report. That might be a little to cold for me to dive wet.
I am hesitant to get 7mm protection as I know I am going to want to get a dry suit eventually and then 7mm would not be used. So I think I am going to hold out on the cold(er) waters until I can go dry.
Thanks!
