Aaron's in Kailua has nitrox. Island divers has nitrox as well. I've only had them fill my own tanks, though, not rented from them before. I have rented tanks from Dive Oahu before, though.
When will you be there? I'd be interested to hear your about your experiences. I'll be diving with them in a few months and also am new to shooting while drifting.
I'll second both recommendations for Kaimana and Hawaiian Diving Adventures. There were my two favorite operators during the time I lived there. HDA has a fast boat, so they tend to not take as long as other operators to get you to/from the dive site.
That's nice, and the way I feel it should be. I've run into a few shops, though, that bank 32% and still require O2 cleaning...another of the 'their shop, their rules' situation if that's where I want/need to get fills.
Also take a look at Hawaiian Diving Adventures or Scuba Diving Oahu With Kaimana Divers - Dive Oahu With The Pros. Both are good ops run out of Waikiki. HDA has a nice fast boat to get you out and back quicker than others. I haven't done any dives with Kaimana since they get their own boat, but...
DSS Torus 17lb wing. About 5 years old. About 80 saltwater dives on it. Always rinsed and dried well inside and outside after each day of diving.
Excellent small, streamlined wing. Great travel wing, too. I love diving single tanks in it, but I'm selling because I really need about 20lbs of...

I'm interested in any experiences to/from Roatan via Miami. I'm headed there next month with an UWLD LD-26 (older generation with the Standard battery...96Whr/8gm ELC) and have the UWLD travel sheet with the specs. I typically run my Petrel and backup light off rechargeable NiMH. Should I grab...
