    What is your preferred strobe

Yeah, we updated the TURTLE trigger, but anyway, because of the poor quality of Sea&Sea sensors, the fiber optic cable control with the LED triggers doesn't work with any kind of cables, just the really good ones. It's a typical problem with those strobes sadly.

Sony A6XXX and battery life and strobe considerations

I work for the TRT-Electronics and we are manufacturing the Turtle triggers for different camera models for a few years. I know there are some other reliable triggers on the market, some of them have special features, but basically, all of them should do their job: control the strobe. I can tell...

A6400 with FA6400: strobe triggers & arms? which do you suggest?

Nice to hear you love the Turtle trigger. :) (Disclaimer: I work for the company.) Regardless of the trigger, there are big differences between the underwater strobes if we talk about reliability. We always recommend our customers to use the best quality multicore fiber optic cables because some...

    Liveaboard in the Philippines?

Well, it isn't that difficult to visit Asia from Hungary. Next spring we will go to Bali for two weeks and there's only one stop in Doha. My friend from HK visited me this year, so everything is possible.:) You know, in Europe I dived many places, and I've been to the Red Sea for a dozen times-...

    Liveaboard in the Philippines?

I always wanted to visit the Philippines, read a lot about the different islands and spots, but recently I found a website of a liveaboard boat. AlishaDive.com | True diving experience! I confess I didn't know about liveaboard there but it seems exciting, as in the Red Sea I always choose...

How many people love Vintage Equipment Diving ?

Great to see you shared this video! I confess I shot it a few days ago.:) The diver didn't had any experience with those stuff before, she wasn't sure how will she liked them. She had mixed experiences: the mask was quite uncomfortable for her, the small fins (I think this Voit is not the...

    Malta

There are many wrecks around. I think most of the dive centers take their guests to the typical sites, like the Rozi, the P29, the Um El Faroud wrecks. These are easy to access shore dive spots, I like them too, because anybody would enjoy them. I'd recommend a day trip to Gozo, I really like...

New to scuba (PADI OW Cert) - desperate to go to Red Sea in Oct, but not in Egypt?

The diving in Sudan is more spectacular usually than the Egyptian Red Sea. Jordan offer far less to see for the divers, there you can't expect too much pelagic encounters. I'd think about a liveaboard trip to Sudan if somebody don't want to travel to Egypt, there are liveaboard operators who...

    Canary Islands in December?

You can expect 20-21 Celsius degrees water. The ocean can be choppy but usually most dive centers can offer another site if the chosen one isn't safe. In my opinion Gran Canaria is a perfect destination if you want to do different dives, reefs, wrecks, caverns etc. Maybe you can check my...

    Travel in July 2014

I have to tell you most of the European dive sites much less spectacular in themselves, so they try to create artificial reefs to attract more divers. But most of these wrecks are easy to dive, smaller boats which are enjoyable without penetration, for example the ones around Malta. Anyway, if...

    Travel in July 2014

Well, I dived several spots in Europe and I would say Malta is a good destination for those who wants to organize a real diving holiday. I like the island, there are exciting spots above water as well, and because it's so tiny, you can dive all important dive sites around Malta and Gozo. I...

Back from a great liveaboard trip

Yeah, I like this boat, we use to choose this when we travel to Egypt, and the price of the trip was less than 600 euros for a week. Altough some guys worried about the situation in Egypt, nobody couldn't resist this offer.:)

Back from a great liveaboard trip

We spent a week in the Marsa Alam area, we had many great dives. Saw some hammerhead sharks at the Elhpinstone, turtles during a night dive in the Claudia, there were many smaller and larger animals. Our boat was the Cassiopeia, great crew, nice service... The water was 29 Celsius degrees warm...

    General diving info - Croatia

Sadly I haven't been to Vis yet, but usually the divers like the island, especially those love wrecks. But those who want to avoid long ferry rides don't choose islands as a destination in the summer. I know dive centers in Murter and Razanj (Rogoznica area).
