I too have bough some gloves and boots from them and are quite happy with them; keep me warm and fit well and seem to be good construction. The only experience I have with them are the gloves and boots...but based on those, I am very happy with them.

I would get a reg set and wetsuit before a dive computer. As far as Veo or save up for something better (D4i/D6i), only you can really choose if you want to save up or not.

Take my thoughts with a grain of sand, but it kinda sounds like your trusting in your gear more than your skills to solo dive....that's a lot of gear.
