Recommendations for GUE tech 1 instructor anywhere in the world

First thing, make sure that Helium is available wherewhere you are planning to go :) All the names you mantioned, plus the couple others mentioned, are great instructors. There are 4 GUE Tech 1 instructors in Los Angeles alone, all great instructors, I'd recommend any of them though I like some...

They normally used EMS for shipping.

I have not seen any indications that exports from Russia will be restricted. But, obviously, the new phase is 1 week old, no idea so far.

What to do about a leaky suit?

One of the divers in our group had e.Motion. It was never dry. Pin holes on every dive. She got really good at finding them with the "flashlight in the dark room" tests and had repair few after every dive. Santi got the suit and said that it is wear and tear due to abuse (the person in question...

Hmm, Frogman came up with new suit line. "Hydra". Don't even see it the website yet. Looks cool, new cut that aimed at better mobility while being more streamlined. English trilam that has a bit of a stretch. I could see it in my future

    Review Seaskin Nova drysuit

Most "normal" people will use base layer and 250. Some will add some mid layer.

Yeah, not 4 way. Just some busy areas. Those are repairs. I got. No big deal too, no catastrophic leaks, just some leaks after like year and a half, totally expected from normal suit.

Well, I don't complain about Sea Skin at all. It's an extremely high value suit. If I didn't find Frogman, I'd probably own 2 Sea Skins now and would not cry about it. Fir wise, I'd say Sea Skin only got my sleeves a bit shorter than I'd like and on another suit I'd pad arm length a bit. Frogman...

Like vioch said, Frogman has variety of suit models. From very light Travel (super light but is going to wear faster) to a heavy Armor model that is Kevlar trilam material. Also, they could combine technologies from different models for you (let's say, they could do more robust Tech/Armor seam...

Сухой гидрокостюм FROGMAN ? Not really. But use Facebook for communications, I found it to be the best way.

You certainly could order any of these options with either of these suits. Also, seals are much cheaper than DUI Zipseals. Gotta add that relieve zippers suck. It's an additional item to fail. But it's your choice.

The difference is very apparent when you look at the suits side by side. I love Sea Skin and it is a crazy bang for the buck. But Frogman is definitely different. Think more like Santi or good DUI FLX Extreme. Nothing like crooked stitches of Ursuit or lower end DUI. And the trilam is...

I am not 100% happy with Slaggo. I do not use dry gloves. Well, I often forget to put wet gloves (coldest temps without were 47F, I am ok with that). The problem with Slaggo is changing seals. Those clips are kinda tricky. Once seals are properly in-the system works great. Love how flexible they...

I have a Sea Skin too, it's a great suit for the money. It does feel a bit cheaper made when compared side by side with the likes of Santi e.Lite and DUI FLX Extreme. Or Frogman. Think kinda like comparing well made H&M garment with a brand name piece of clothing. H&M might look good and serve...

Kevlar knee pads were not that much extra, have no idea why I didn't order those. The total suit cost will depend on the exchange rate at the time of purchase but should run you in the $1600-1800 range for a fully opted MTM Tech suit.

One year since I ordered the suit. Still chugging along. Even when I abuse it, diving doubles on the beach, throw it in the back of the trunk, don't have time to wash it, just stuff it into the bag. It takes abuse and keeps on going. One thing I wish I did-installing Kevlar knee pads. I didn't...

Any new user feedback? Just wondering, there are few new divers in US with these suits.
