Did you guys see my comment from quite a while back about the Oregon Scuba Club? We have some dives coming up in the next several months including Keystone Jetty, Cove 2, Clear Lake. You should check out our Facebook page if you haven't already.

Hi Ricardo...I have not had the chance to try cleaning the water contacts yet but I will definitely try that tonight. As for the Smoke Ring...there is definitely some good folks over there that love to cook. I have learned a lot from those guys. I will get back to you on the water contacts.
Another thing the Luna has been doing is not shutting off when I hold down both outside buttons. It acts like it is going to shut down then boots back up again. It is just being weird. :)
Thanks for the reply Ricardo. I did not try the purging of the 2nd stage. I will give that a try. I love my Luna but was wondering if it was time to send it for a check up.
Thanks,
LD
I have a Luna that I have used on about 100 dives. When I first got it, I could press both outer buttons and the entire screen would light up to show all the different icons and such. I have replaced the battery once in the Luna and once in the transmitter. I did test the transmitter battery...
I have been looking at the Ranger BC for my next BC. I tried an LTD but have not been able to figure out the difference between the two. I know the LTD has more weight capacity in the back pockets but other than that what is the difference?
Thanks for any info...
Good to know...I am thinking of having my LDS order me this bag for my next trip. I like Akona gear so far. I have their weight bags and mask cases at this point and they are built really well.
I have emailed them twice directly from their website and received ZERO response. Too bad...I like my Hollis gear but if they are going to ditch me like that I will switch to another manufacturer that does give a $hit about it's customer base. :(
We stayed there in April...LOVED the diving!!! Ask to be on Captain Steve's boat with Nelson as your DM. Those two are awesome. Tell them Dave and Danee from Portland say Hi!!! :bounce: Marys Place was the bomb but a bit rough. Make sure when you go thru the reef swim you take a light and...
Check out Zeagle too. I hear there a few shops down in Florida that carry Zeagle and are highly knowledgeable. I have a couple of friends that have Zeagles and love them. Plus I hear their warranty is top notch. I am looking at the Covert for my trips to warm water destinations. Good luck...
I have done a high protein, low carb diet in the past and it works great for me for losing weight as well as working with my Crohn's disease. A high protein, low carb diet really makes my stomach feel much better. My wife and I are starting this ketogenic diet this week to give it a trial.
