    Current Renewal Times

I did mine a couple of years back on-line and have my license in my hands in 13 days and they was even with the omission on my sea time form. I would not do it any other way from now on.

    The long winter

I spead my winter getting ready for next season. Taking bookings, finding new people to take out. All of the things that you need to do to make a season work. There is always something that needs to be done.

    Liability Releases

I keep mine for seven years. You just never know these days. Who knows what happens even after customers are long gone from the dock.

    Suunto Stinger help

Once you are on the screen to change the percentage, use the bottom two buttons which is on either side of the watch. It works like a plus and minus button. Once this is done press the mode button to complete the settings. Good Luck and dive safe

Scubaquarium: Chicago area INDOOR REEF DIVING!!!

Disney does this already at Epcot in Florida. It is a cool thing to do once in a blue moon.

What's wrong with the OMS dual bladder 100#'s?

If you are using it for a single tank right now, then that is why people are telling you that it is too much. If you like it, dive it. And yes, if you are going to continue your training into the more advanced areas, then you are going to need it. DSAO

    Pony freeflow

I am not sure if anyone has answered your question directly or not. I have a back mounted pony bottle which I used for over a hundred dives which the valve was left on in case it was needed and I never once had any type of freeflow. For receational diving, I recommend this type of configuration...

    entry question

Normally you enter the water with them on. I have not seen it done any other way, but I guess there may be a case where is might make since. Good luck.

    Deep Sea Detectives.....

I have read this thread and seems like no one is interested in the history behind the wrecks these guys dive on. The history behind the wreck and its sinking is what makes diving on these sites so interesting. I think they do a great job giving the history. I am not sure how a show just...

    Portable O2

I am not sure what is in the tank to create the O2 and I am not sure how being around the water would effect it. I would be hard pressed to even try it. And I do not think you would get it anywhere near a plane these days. Good Luck

    New kid in town

Slow down just a little. With 15 dives logged, you haven't been diving long enough. Get some more training and then simply go diving. I am sure that you will make a great DM one day. But you simply need to dive more. Take the job, enjoy the experience. Being a DM is serious business. People...

    Burst Disc Blew! 2 -Questions?

That is why you practice your CESA for shallow dives. Anything deeper, I carry a pony bottle or dive doubles. Anything can happen, a burst disk fails, a hose gets cut, a o-ring fails. If you are diving deeper with a single tank, consider taking a pony. More than likely you will never need...

Stage bottle types Al or steel

Well, I use steel 50's for most of my dives and have never had any issues with being overweighed or in the way the bottle hangs. I don't suffer from the buoyancy shift that the aluminum tanks have either. The steel tanks are smaller for the equivalent aluminum tanks. And why would one want...

    First NJ dive?

This site is a very cool wreck site and you should visit it someday, not for your first Northeast Atlantic dive. My shop runs what we call, “Intro to Wreck Diving” trips. We keep the depth between 70 and 80 feet and we overload the boat with staff. This means that for every buddy team we...

Funny Sign on the Way to Dutch...

Good choice. I have had one for 4 years now and I am very pleased with it. I would select Latex over Neoprene. I just found them easier to deal with and more comfortable on my neck. I did change out the wrist seals for the thicker ones. I also spent the extra money to get a custom fit and am...
