Hey folks...
I recently lost a camera during a dive off Little Cayman's north shore (Joy's Joy dive site) while diving with Reef Divers of Little Cayman Beach resort in about 35 feet of water. It is a Canon S100 point & shoot camera in an Ikelite housing, it had Ikelite's color filter mounted...
I guess we'll agree to disagree on that one - I have found plenty of useful information, and well written, honest reviews of many resorts in UC. Yes, some of reviews are pretty weak - but the strong ones more than make up for them. There are plenty of positive experiences noted from various...
I have read good things about that area. Any particular reason to book at one resort, then drive to another? Or is Red M not a resort?
Any shore diving in Tobago?
My wife and I are trying to pick our next warm water dive destination and looking for some suggestions. Our previously visited desinations consist of;
Florida Keys
Fiji
Honduras 2x
Cayman Brac
Bonaire 2x
Galapagos
South Carolina
Looking for a good place for photography, particularly...
I am pretty sure the transmitter battery for my Uwatec AirX has finally died. I get no pressure signal whatsoever. Battery of the main computer is still 72% (has been replaced once).
Reading some older threads here, it seems Uwatec/Scubapro no longer service these computers? I would be...

Epson now makes a pretty nice printer that will print from your camera's memory card directly - without even being connected to a computer! Model is the R300 - which my wife bought recently, not bad on price - about $180. Quality is excellent. It is still a dye-based photo printer, so you...
I also recommend Martin's book - but not quite sure if it is for the beginner. I would consider it more intermediate to advanced. His discussions about lighting and photographic approach though is helpful to all!
I suppose I am coming in late to this one - but has anyone noticed the 'look' of digital u/w images vs. film? I am not saying it's good or bad - just different. (hows that for being PC? ;)) I am not quite sure how to explain it, and certainly there are some that I can't tell at all - but many...
I have read a lot of good things about jumbogiant.com. You send them your digicam file and they up-rez it from there. No need to deal with the huge file sizes, which is a bonus.
Hello everyone,
Just stumbled upon this nice site and thought - where have I been? Looking foward to participating.
