The exhaust valve is to exposed on the viper. Large grains of sand can get stuck under the flapper and you breath in water. Had it happen to me in cancun. Leaves a bad taste in your mouth about these regs. Now have two sets of apeks (tx50 & tx200). Never leave home with out them.

My pair lasted 50 dives. Broke at the hinge. LDS exchanged. Warranty is one year.

I contacted Apeks and was told every Apeks reg was the same no matter where it was sold or purchased. That seaquest was distributing in the states,but it was under Apeks name not Seaquest. Contact at Apeks is Landon and have many discussions with him about atx line. Warranty is with Apeks not...
