Anyone have any idea how to do the Picsio firmware update on a Mac?

Picsio is on Amazon for under $100

I shot it at night with the Picsio on the 1080p (30fps) setting. I compressed it way done in QT for easier uploading. On the original, you can really see the crab (dinner) that tries and fails to get away.

I just got back from Bonaire and used the same setup. I'm working on the vid now, but here is a small sample: YouTube - Bonaire2010.mov

I'd like to echo "under water"s opinion: when I go on a dive trip, I usually come back with about 4 hours of footage that gets whittled down to a 30 - 40 minute video. Much of the footage I toss is perfectly fine, but if a turtle comes by on dive #1, I'm gonna tape him. I don't know (yet)...

The Ikelite housing for the Kodak Zi8 also does NOT allow for the use of still photo capture (unlike the Picsio housing that allows use of all the controls). I believe this is due to the difficulties of designing a housing that needs to marry with the "joystick" control of the Zi8.

FWIW, I just contacted Ikelite and asked them if it would be possible to take still photos with the Zi8 while in the housing. The answer was a definitive "no." They did say you could always capture a still off the video later, but in my experience, that is usually pretty poor quality. Too...
