Uhm - I know how to navigate, thanks...

Thinking about it, we did actually navigate underwater, to find some of the "sights" (helicopter, landrover etc) in the quarry where we were learning. Unfortunately the conditions at sea were pants when I did my OW course. :(

I was... Only at a basic level, on the surface. It's one of the *required* dives on the AOW course though, perhaps that's why they don;t do much with it at OW level (you've got a lot of other things to focus on when you first learn after all!).

I also had to do the kit removal/replace (including weights) on my PADI OW course, in the pool. It was in my manual, under the list of things that we were required to do in the pool training (somewhere near the front). My instructor had to sign these pages for my logbook to confirm that these...

Oh, NOW they're showing up! :D Really love those eel shots, they have amazing detail. No idea why the first two came out so red though; I'm sure an expert will jump in and help... ;)

Hehe, it's not that I like them... In fact, I'm TERRIFIED of spiders!! But they make using the macro mode SO easy... Wich is probably what I'll be concetrating most on using underwater, so I figured I'd better get used to it! Not had chance to play around with it manually yet, mind...

Very nice! I love "Yet another pack of cudas", "Few batfishes more" and "Abyss". I can't wait to start using my own camera underwater! :D

Your best bet might be to host the photo elsewhere (e.g. photobucket) then post a link to it. The gallery had been disabled for now and I think it effects the attachments too...

They're upgrading stuff, it's a huge site... It's just going to take a while is all.

There's already a thread on this, is you care to look at the list... It's not working right now.

Thanks. :) I'm not saying they're a bad idea; in fact, in the right circumstances they can be a VERY good idea. Just adding some points to the discussion...

Perhaps there is a reaosn there has never been a reef there? Perhaps the conditions are wrong? Perhaps creating an artificial reef will disturb what marine organisms there ARE there (a suprising amount of organisms live in sand, for example - just because we can't see them and it's a bit...
