I used the mount from a head strap...cut off any extra plastic to slim it down. It already had a square hole in the middle of it, so a carriage bolt worked perfectly. I put a few ounces of lead in the box and sealed everything up. It will sink slowly on it's own, so it's just about right.

Not for dive gear, no. I also have one of the old(and way cool) California dive boxes, but it only holds one set of gear. With this one, I can take mine and my wife's stuff all in one. They actually like your gear in a box like this...easy for them to move around if need be.

I know this is an older camera, but I have one that I bought new and have maybe 3 hours use on it. I would really like to find a reasonably priced housing for it. If you have one you aren't using, let's see if we can make a deal.

Cruise ship diving is a great way to experience a sampler of the Caribbean. In two separate cruises, I have been to Cozumel, Belize, Roatan, Haiti (not great diving), Grand Cayman, Jamaica, and Playa del Carmen. It gives you an idea of where you might want to go back and spend a week sometime.
