I love this light but don't dive enough anymore to justify owning it.
Comes with everything you see here - the hand bracket is home made and works great. The green tape on the cord is so I know if it got a cut in it.
I haven't used it in a year but keep it charged up per MFG directions for...
One is Catalina, and I don't remember the other 3. I forgot, I have a 50 as well.
I really need to get up there and take inventory. I haven't been in Longmont much lately. I will try to check it out this week and update the post.
Greg
Is anyone interested in some AL80 cylinders and a set of AL80 doubles w/ 300bar DIN valves? They are in Longmont in storage right now, so I don't know hydro dates.
I need to sell this stuff since I don't dive local anymore and figured it would save money to sell local.

James,
I looked at these places as well and have samples too......
The Blue hole is a volcanic chamber that has been opened to the surface. The light colored/spotted rocks are Andesite, there is red ones in the area too that is Rhyolite.
There are old hand drawn cross-sections around that...
they are still working on it?????
What are they doing, making homes for all the Crawfish???????
I thought the bottom dredging was all finished earlier in the summer. They must really be worried about the bottom collapsing on it. I know it had dropped a few inches in the time I was diving...
I wonder if anyone down there is monitoring the water quality..... I could see the new vents adding silt. Since the rock isn't limestone, it could have some nasty stuff disolved in it. I know the floor was sinking, there were cracks and voids opening up in under the walls in some of the back...
Hey, just got back in town and had to toss something in here.
From my understanding, there is a possibility that the lower chambers are beginning to cave in. About a year or so ago, one of the chambers must have collapsed, there was a silt out for about two weeks. An Army Corp engineer had...
I've done a few deep dives in grottos, I can only emagine what a chrystal clear Cenote would be like.... Hal Wats was the first, that was really fun. I have a picture of the Buick at 130', that's where I did the deep specialty.
I was told to go to Playa Del Carmen for a nice under touristed...
Just free diving, I don't think I could get dive gear in there unless I had a way to bring it from Cancun. It's about a 3 hour trip.
I found a dive outfit that does Cenote dives, but not sure where they are. I had their phone numbers with me, but we never had the time to do it. I even took...
I just got back from a missions trip to Yucitan - Tixbacab. There is a little town South of it callet Cenotilla. Obviously it's named after a Cenote as you can see by the name :D
Get some
Well, we were a hard working crew and liked to go swimming in the cenotes in the area after...
I have to shime in..... I get the Oyster updates and actually check them somethimes.....
Congrats Ron!
I was going to do the volunteer thing two (maybe 3) summers ago with them, one of the guys on the TDS-bb was doing it and got me interested. Do they still do this? It is a pretty big...
Brian just got back from the dives.
He was pleased with the hole conditions as well, but noted all the silt. He said it looked like someone has been "excavating" an area trying to get an opening to the lower levels. He said Perch was 15' vis below 45' and 30' above the thermocline.
He...
Hey Ron,
what was the hole like now that it is "fixed"?
My brother Brian will be down there with a friend this weekend 28-30th. We were told that they goofed it up worse than before. BUT, I don't believe the source.
How much slime/algie is in Perch?
Any pictures of the bottom...
I think Don has a fetish with fish doodoo...... LOL
I needed a good laugh, Thanks Don.
As for the flow. I agree with the 1/2 thing. Although, there is an increase because the grate is getting winnowed out. Look down into it, there is a lot more space now.
I think there is also some inflow...
From my observations and discussions with a city guy. The chamber that collapsed down deep may have started a chain reaction worry. I think they are trying to get some of the weight off the bottom to keep the main floor from going down. When I was doing a night dive last year, you could see...
No flooded quarries in Ft. Fun. sorry.... I've seen most of them on Geology field trips.
Problem w/ the lakes is that most freeze up. I spent many years in the Ft., H. tooth would be fun to dive if you could find open water. Carter doesn't usually freeze untill they refill it after the first...
Hummmmm,
Aurora will probably have good vis around now. Kinda cruddy dive for seeing anything. The plane is back where it is supposed to be now, so it should be easy to find. Vis is 0 to 25', depends on the wind and weather and if students have nuked it.
There is no rentals at any dive...
