I understand what you're saying, but I know I'm not alone in thinking this way: I don't like to haggle with people, I want the price to be the price. It's bad enough that I have to do it buying a car, I don't want to be doing it elsewhere :D

Apeks ATX50 with DS4 1st stage can be had around $300 online, I've seen it for just shy of $600 in a store. While not exactly twice the price, it's close enough to me.

I ate at one of those restaurants on Salt Cay, can't remember the name right now - but the owner was a REAL character and we had a great time. The food was decent as well.

A 7mm suit does feel like armor the first few times you put it on, but you do actually get used to it :) A lycra dive skin makes donning one 100 times easier IMO

I had this problem the first three times after I landed from flights that had one stop in the middle on, I learned to equalize early and constantly and it helped such that now it's not a problem. I discovered I had to do the same exact thing the first few dives I did, equalize about every foot...

If Oasis still has that big old boat, don't get on it! Use their smaller '6-pack' boats if you can. When I was there last year that thing broke down several times, making every two dive trip last much longer than half a day.

Is that new? SSI didn't require that when I got my AOW through them a few years ago.
