Malta and Spain have finnaly dropped the requirement to hold a current dive medical, you can now self certify at the dive operator. Malta are using the HSE UK system, not sure about Spain Also Malta have now legalised Nitrox for Rec diving, operators are reported to be fitting the eqiupment...

Is it possible to drop the corrugated hose from a wing, and use another method........ Standard drysuit infaltor? Airtrim? :D , I can see problems, manual inflation being a bit of a headache as well as position of the inflator, but is there a way? I know I'am going to get a lot of stick for...

When PADI started up, how were they viewed at the time by the diving community, They, like GUE had links to a manufacturer, was this frowned upon at the time? Was the trainning they offered considered to be good? Who was around at the time for them to compete with?

I have noticed that GUE have dived the Repulse in the South China Sea, the group entered the wreck which is a British war Grave. What do people think about this??? Is it morally right to do this????

Hi everybody, got back daybefore yesterday Myself and Mrs Mares are now blissfully married. ;) Hakuraa in the Maldives is stunning, I,ll write a review and post it after the weekend. but to give you a taster, Black and white tips, turtles, mantas, thats just on one dive, some of the other...

..... I don,t, but i know a guy who does ;) So this is the problem, at the edge of the lake (20 Acres), British acres, ( I don,t want to get into the metric - imperial debate again). There is a 30 degree bank down to water level, No problem. From there the lake decends at 1m in depth...
