    How Much is Too Much?

Well, 12' seas in the Halifax area is too much, these were my condt's for my AOW. Needless to say, I didn't do it. Boat breaking the mooring was the icing on the cake. Having said that, yrs later, and many more dives, 10' seas in Saba off a liveaboard were not. It all depends, as you...

    Divemaster touching me

cultural differences or not, male or female, you gotta go with your gut feeling. Myself, I hope that I would've insisted on going back to the resort after the 1st dive, probably "feeling ill". Then when back at the resort speak directly to him about the concern I had. Then, if that didn't...

Unsafe Diving on the Caribbean Explorer II??

I agree, we are responsible for own actions. I have been on this trip, and have nothing to say except that the crew, trip, safety practices, and food was fantastic. The trip was too much for the current abilities described. Next time research the trip/diving better. Do your own research...

Also diving w/o, you really learn bouyancy control in a hurry, as you know every touch that occurs, and, so does everyone else!!! Having said that, here...

essential extra scuba items... (don't leave home without em)

For underwater communication, take along a dog clicker. It's a training device, so not only will you get attention when desired, you will be training your buddy at the same time! Seriously these are inexpensive and work very well. Have fun!

The great back inflate vs. jacket BC debate

I just switched to the back inflate...........love it. Extremely low profile, was excellent in current. As for the face forward suition, this wasn't at all an issue for me, because I do all surface activities towards my back anyway. One further note, on the last trip (and my first with the...
