    Malaysia/Thai water temperature?

All around Malaysian waters (including East Malaysia). Temp varies from 26C - 32C. At most times : 28C-30C Skin is fine. If it gets too cold, you can rent suits in most dive destinations. Unless you are an XXXL by size, then you might want to bring along what you can.

When you find an item while diving, do you try and locate the owner?

Once I found a set of denture underwater. It was in an area of loads of snorkelers. I couldn't find the owner but am sure he/she realised it was missing.

The best dive job in the world!

I reckon being attached with a faculty to do marine research would be the optimun job. Get to go diving to the unknown, search for new species or do a more detailed study on existing ones and get recognitions for it when something great is discovered. Most of all.......you get funding...

    Why did you start Diving?

    Sipadan

Hi wschul Best time for Sipadan in terms of sea condition and vis is between April and August. Sipadan is an Oceanic Island with mainly of wall dives, drops off to the depth of 2000 feet. Which makes the marine life pretty much stays around there. Once in a while when there's cold...

    The Blow-job...yes or no?

Using a towel to wipe the dust-cap then wait for few minute for the moist to dry is surely a good practice. As most of all knows that when we are at a cleaning area, the will normally be lot's of water sprays around which can somehow or rather creep into our regulator inlet. From my point...

    Diving in Sangalaki

Hi Liang OK...I understand what your ordeal is now. I would feel the same way too if I was in your shoes. I believe the reason for his slow response is that he is in Sangalaki most the time. However, I've just called his collegue at Kota Kinabalu and found out that they have just got...

    Breathhold free-diving

Hi Folks I hate to post this but just wanted to share it with all. I've just lost a friend (an experience Divemaster) to skin diving last Friday. No confirmation on the cause of his departure but is suspected of shallow water black-out. If you are really into freediving, please do...
