    Simple Projects

Dive flag...hmmm, yellow cloth (I know its not a dive colour but it will get attention) and some tent poles cut in half, so it collapses downwards. I could make that work. Reel is something that could be really useful. Probably a simple one. I just lack the knowledge of how to make one. I've...

    This blows me away!!!!!!

I live in England and got 100 dives in my first year. Though this was mostly due to diving most weekends, and a three week trip doing three dives a day. Slowly increased to nearly 300 dives now (I think I'm on about 270/280) so it is possible. I've been diving three years. Four this December.

How deep have you gone and why ?

46m was my deepest. There was a crashed plane in what was supposedly 40m of water, but a storm had moved it off a ledge. Hence why I was at 46m.

If there was a way to make it have a solid hull but still the thru-floor entry/exit it would be good.

Question re: Safety Sausage & Finger spool

I learnt to do this in a pool borrowing someone elses before I got into a situation where I needed to do it. But I'll try and explain it anyway. 1. Take SMB and spool out of pouch/pocket etc already attached 2. Put finger through the hole in the spool 3. Hold the SMB mouth open, tilt head to...

    Youlanda wreck

This was in sportdiver magazine. I've got it in front of me now. It was Mark Andrews and Leigh Cunnigham that found it. There are containers at 73m and the deepest at 86. And there's bits of wreckage as deep as 160m. Sorry for butting in, I'll go away now.

Surgical tubing and a zip tie. I use it for a holder on my bc, but you could easily change it to a necklace.

How often do you dive(teen divers online)

Im 15 now and I qualified on my 12th birthday. I'm coming up to my 250th dive. I dive irreguarly. Sometimes I go and might do 4 dives in a weekend. Or I might do 20 dives in 5 days. I'm not fussed about how many dives I do. What I'm fussed about is how good they are.

More UK deaths - whats happening

We have some of the most difficult diving conditions in the world (not THE most) and we have very little fish life. This leads to wreck and cave diving. Cave divings all about the penetration but the further you go in the further you have to come out. Wreck diving, though not as much...
