Some highlights of Isle Royale, June 2012

Thanks! I probably spent at least a few hours on each video. The toughest was the highlights video. Just trying to decide what to take out. As for depths, average would probably be about 70-80 feet. The deepest were the Empire Stern, about 130-135' at the rear deck, and the Chisholm Engine...

    Sea & Sea DX8000G

I have a DX-3000G and just upgraded to the 5000G. Both the 3000 and 5000 have very fast shutter lag times that include pressing the button to picture taken. It can be even shorter using the pre-focus/pre-exposure feature (half press of the shutter release). All the reviews I had read indicated...

    bad manta, great time playing!

You bet, one of the best dives ever. Had a school of 6 or 8 in Bora Bora. Ours was the only group to encounter them and I had to show the shots to the non believers! :D Wound up taking about 100 shots before the computer and air said it was time to go...really needed gills on that one...

    Shortest Shutter Lag

Sea & Sea DX-3000, 5000 and 8000 (3, 5 and 8 MP) use Ricoh Caplio cameras. Ricoh claims the shortest shutter lag going for each. I own a 3000 and 5000 and they are quick but, I haven't used others to actually compare. the reviews I have seen on each, though, back up the claim.
