    AKR in November

I think you've got a fairly good chance of having great weather at that time of year. If I was making odds I'd say figure on having 2 rainy days in that week - AKR should take you to the South side if it's ruff on North..... No-see-em's won't be at their worst - if you are staying on the...

Bananarama and first trip to roatan

Bananarama will take good care of you... In my opion Roatan is one of the best places for new divers: 1. Reef Structure - there is no need for you to go down 80 feet and burn air with the rest of the group - you can profile at 30 or 40 and never loose sight the DM and still have all kinds...

    FIBR trip report

I have known Oscar for a long time. He does get the coral from the shrimp and lobster boats. And I know that he is the only person in Honduras with a real government permit to sell it. He does lovely work and the stuff would just go to waste if he didn't make something wonderful out of it.

    Bay Island Beach Resort BIBR

They have a couple new boats and Spooky Channel is one of my favorite dives... This is Roatan so all the the operations have a wart or two....... BIBR laundry machines

From my dealings with the floks over there - I am sure it won't be a problem... I am sure that the maids will be happy to do your laundry on a daily basis for little or no charge... Probably a little "tip" here and there and you'll have to hide the clean stuff to keep them from washing that as...

    Shore diving from West Bay?

You could probably do Mandy's Eal Garden as a almost practical shore dive - Bout 50 yards from the beach..... The reason they discourge it is most likely cause the water is pretty shallow and there is a large amount of boat traffic - especially the little water taxis that zip around - Don't...
