If you hands are getting cold, I second what jonnythan said. I had the same problem and I complained about the cost of the kit, but it was definently worth it in the long run. Hope this helps.

Simply put, I feel the best policy is to dive with a tank you plan to buy and see how you like it. You sometimes cannot dive with the exact tank you intend to buy, but the dive shop might be able to hook you up with a rental tank with the exact same particulars. You may even like doubles...

Exactly.....if you trust your LSD, let them assist you in getting the equipment you should have rather than "picking it in the dark". It might be more expensive, but worth it. Just my thought on it.

Exactly......but I do not understand how you are not "crossing over your hoses". If your octo is on your left post, how does it not cross your right post unless the reg is coming over your left side/sholder?
