Happy New Year everyone,
in November last year, I had a wonderful dive trip to the still remote volcanic islands in Indonesia´s Banda Sea. Full of emotions and great encounters. Here is my video that I recorded with Panasonic GH5 in Easy dive housing, Panasonic G85 and Hero 4 black. Hope you enjoy
It took a while, but finally I made it. I finally jumped into the greenish, cold waters of the Fuehlinger Lake north of Germany. And hey, what a surprise to see who is living there. Under a platform, far away from the diver´s entry, we found a big shoal of massive Wels Catfish, moving slowly in...
Hey guys,
This summer I visited Malpelo. The island is a great place for big fish encounters, because a lot of these guys find cleaning stations all around the island. One of these stations is a truely unique place, something I haven´t seen before and what I would like to share. A cleaning...
Hi,
went to Ustica north of Sicily last September and was pretty enthusiastic about the diving.

Thanks for all infos so far, folks.
I agree with MarkUK, having dived Precon II in Sudan, I don´t think that the more valuable pieces - the starfish and the deep station, full of electric devices etc. - have been left there. As far as I know, they have been salvaged after the experiment. Some...
Okay, I agree to a certain point, but no hijacking of threads please...
Again - does anybody knows anything about the remains of the Precontinent Experiments?
Except for the submarine garage of Precontinent II, that´s in Sudan. I have been there.
Thanks for any answer,
Hello Guys,
I just dived the Precontinent II/Conshelf II remains at Shab Rumi, Sudan.
What a unique place on Earth, and what an amazing experiment. The question occurred where the other remains of Conshelf II, and also Conshelf I and III are today.
Does anybody know, what happened to...
Thanks!
You are right, just didn´t see the Western Europe section at first. But how can I edit or delete this post???? Don´t find an Edit button somewhere as usual.

Hey guys,
found this powerful, touching and also poetic underwater video, done by Rainer Schimph who is working as a dive instructor in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Includes some overwhelming footage, shot a place which is not pretty well known in dive tourism.
Hope you enjoy...

Hey guys,
when approaching Cocos Island last April I could talk to Tito, one of the brave guys who try to keep Cocos Island free of sharkfinners.
Here is the short interview, which delivers some inside perspectives about their every-day fight against illegal fishing.

@Mike: Edi just wrote that he used a 105 Nikon lens.
@Tomek: Yes, to keep that video "accessible" for most viewers we have chosen a medium kbps figure when compressing the video. But you are right, the quality in some sections could be better. Especially footage of small schooling fish moving...
