Had a great 90 min dive with divindiva69 on Saturday. Just wanted to clear up any confusion, they were comb jellies, not box jellies. They are very common & harmless.
I may be wrong but I think this is the one where there was a leak in the hull. The bilge was full & when they went to put the boat up on plane, all the excess water rushed to the back & the boat went down aft end first. The engine hatch popped & that was what trapped 2 divers in forward area.
I yak dive although I don't know about using a tandem. You definitely want to use a sit on top. I have a Cobra Fish/Dive. I assemble my BC on the beach & place it in the rear well. The rest of my gear goes inside the hatch. Make sure you tether everything to the boat. I have a tether that...
I have a Honda Ridgeline. There is a manual key for the trunk which I carry in my wet suit key pocket. The fob is locked in the trunk. To solve the problem of being unable to lock the fob in the trunk because of the signal, I wrap it in foil.
Hmmmmmmmmmmm....................I'm not familiar with that boat, but a google search shows me an inflatable yak. I have my doubts. Generally, most folks use sit on tops. If you have a pool or know someone who does, try it out in the pool & see how it works.
Did a dive at South Brohard this morning. In at 10 AM, winds out of the South East on entrance and then switched to the South West upon exit. Water temp 80°. Visibility doable, but poor. I would say 3 to 4 feet, with a lot of snot. The reef looks pretty dead. I saw 4 Sheepshead and one juvenile...

Fish are returning, including a rather pesky remora which we managed to pawn off on Sharkwatcher & his #1 dive buddy.
