you should come to Alor after your R4 trip and before Komodo...you will not be disapointed, one of the best time of the year late November early December ...big chances to see whale migrating as well, incredible macro and much fish life on pristine reefs... just an idea ;)

if you dive only around KRI area and you have bad luck with poor visibility , i completely understand....there is a lot of fish but it is lacking color...did 4 cruise in R4 and hit 3 times bad visi on this KRI area...felt the same than you ...misool with nice vis is spectacular. i understand...

just arrive in Sorong after 4 days in Misool and vizi was horrible...i was also there last year in March and vizi was fantastic....was there in february the year before and vizi was horrible... not sure there is any rule with this..

if you want to ride around Labuhanbajo motorbike could be fine, but i would not recommend crossing Flores with motorbike ....Enjoy

Una Una has 3 quite good dive sites, and 2 more good dive sites...apart from that no much more....it is a fairly small island, raja ampat is a huge area with really good quality diving and lot of diversity..i don't think it is possible to compare the 2 places.... i can go more in details if some...

Hi, i'm surprise nobody mention Alor ...together with Bali Alor is one of the best option to combine with a Komodo trip...amazing diving with no crowd....including muck diving , coral reef , fish... there is now more flights than it use to be and a Labuhanbajo-Alor is possible in a day. Also...

same for Alor, as the rain didn't start yet , November is a really good month...the visibility is for sure very good. April comes just after the raining season and visibility can be far from the best ...May is definitely already very good...
