It was a clean install.
>then just open your old log file.
Sample file opens, old log file crashes.
>If this doesn't work set Oceanlog to open in XP compatability mode
Still crashes...

For the record, I'm a Mac user. I've been trying to persuade Oceanic to support Mac users for years. I'm only running Windoze 7 out of morbid curiosity - and because Oceanic does not support Mac.
:(
H
I'm trying to migrate Oceanlog from Windows XP to Windows 7.
When I try to open a log saved with a previous version of Oceanlog on XP I get the error message:
"Database file is missing. Program terminated"
Oceanlog then quits.
Running Oceanlog 2.2.6; Windows 7
I cannot...
Hmm, no posts from Oceanic since Dec, 2007. In the meantime Mac OSX now has a 10% market share. I encourage Oceanic/Pelagic to work with the developer community to support the Mac platform.
>Bright colors? any preferences?
Your yellow works well. Agree with Surly on bright green or bright orange. There is a lot of research on color visiility under water. It should be easy to spot if you drop it.
>I'm getting the impression that only one blade length, 3" is preferred?
Yes...
Here is another vote for a knife like Gerber River Shorty. Perfect size/weight.
Important features:
-Blunt tip for prying.
-Would prefer much sharper blade like the one in Salt 1.
-Line cutter notch on spine. (Serrations on Gerber seem worthless)
-Holes on handle to attach lanyard if...
Hi Zak,
This may be a dumb question but, here goes: Is it $35 for a primary (1st/snd. stage) and another $35 for the safe second/octo, or $35 for the whole regulator kit? It might be a long time before sevice parts rack up $70 in charges...
Thanks for clarifying.
According to the Mares announcement on Sport Diver Interactive:
"Mares will also offer the opportunity for consumers who purchased a Mares Regulator in 2004 or 2005 the option to upgrade to the new Lifetime Parts Policy for a nominal fee."
Any details on how this will be implemented or...
How about a play on word on "nude"? ("It is so small, it is like wearing nothing")
The "Oceanic Niud"
or
The "Oceanic Nekid"
or how about a high tech angle?:
The "Oceanic Dot" (the Dot-reg from Oceanicww.com)
Hi Patricia,
I'm looking forward to meeting you and other expats in Cozumel. A couple of questions:
For Sat 25 Feb is it safe to assume the activity is at the Flamingo Hotel and not a "flaming" one? ;) If so, at what time are the festivities? And could you give an address? The hotel's...
Who... Me (Hector) and old college friend (Andy)
Where... Suites Bahia
When... 25 Feb 25 - 04 Mar
How... Hector: DEN-CZM on Frontier
Andy: SJU-LGA-CTL-CZM on Jet Blue/US Air
With... Blue XT Sea (just me, Andy is thinking of taking resort scuba intro class)
Hope to see you there...
How lucky. I'll be there the 25th through March 4th as well! I had no Idea I'd be there during Carnaval. Anyone know where is the "Rojo Gomez Ballroom" and whether there is an admission fee to the same?
Thanks,
Hector
Hi,
This is my third trip to Cozumel. At this time it is looking like I'll be travelling on my own. I'll be staying at Casa Mexicana and diving with Christi's Blue XT Sea Divers. I'd like to get a chance to meet other fellow ScubaBoard members who might be in Cozumel at that time. Chime in or...
I've been to Cozumel twice. On my first trip In September of '04 I stayed at and dove with Scuba Club Cozumel. Overall a good experience but perhaps too big of a diver to DM ratio.
On my second trip in September of '05 I dove with Christi's Blue XT Sea Divers. Fantastic first class experince...
Hi Joyce,
I'd like to see something that resembles the blunt tip Gerber River Shorty but with a line cutter incorporated.
