    RipOff: bestpricecameras.com

The best weapon you have against this kind of scam is www.resellerratings.com. Always check out a retail website you are unfamiliar with before ordering! Type "bestpricecameras.com" in the store ratings and see what every poor soul had to deal with before you. Lesson learned :)

Anyone successful in putting a wrist mount Atmos 2 into a console?

I bought it at www.diversdirect.com last year. They are actually my LDS, but they run an internet site as well. The 2 cut-outs seem to line up perfectly with the Atmos 2. Thanks again for your advice.

Anyone successful in putting a wrist mount Atmos 2 into a console?

Thanks for your insight Marek! My first thought was how am I going to remove those lugs :) Here's the odd part, the console boot has all the holes already cut for the side button and even the download connectors on the other side. Look closely at this pic to see the side button cut out...

Anyone successful in putting a wrist mount Atmos 2 into a console?

After an hour of prying the wrist mount, I finally managed to remove the boot. I have an Aeris analog console I am trying to put the Atmos 2 in. The Atmos 2 seems quite a bit larger than the depth guage module I removed from the analog console. The main problem seems to be the plastic...

here are some of my Maui pics

I can't stress it enough, buy a copy of "Maui Revealed" by Andrew Doughty months ahead of time. Most detailed and accurate Maui guidebook (written by a native) there is. I would recommend buying it months in advance so you can plan all your dives and excursions ahead of time. A nice...

Apollo Bio fin massive foot pocket!?

Argh:huh: I called Joe at Scubatoy's (where I bought them from) and he said the large should fit a size 10 hard sole 3mm boot. He also said Apollo's foot pocket is more rectangular than most other fins, which I completely agree with since I am used to a narrower fin pocket. I'd prefer not...

Apollo Bio fin massive foot pocket!?

Thanks for the reply MDB. I took a picture of the gap so you can see what I am talking about. The front of the foot pocket feels snug and I can't feel any significant play when I shake the fin with my boot secured. It's only the outer edges of the foot pocket that aren't making contact with my...

Apollo Bio fin massive foot pocket!?

Now I'm more confused, 2 people with the same size boot in an extra large? Maybe the boot I am using is different? Here is a pic of what I'm using: http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/TBTS23.html Is everyone's boot filling the entire pocket? Thanks and I appreciate everyone's help!

Apollo Bio fin massive foot pocket!?

I recently purchased a set of Apollo Bio XT's in Large and I'm stressing out about the fit! I wear a size 10 3mm short boot (tusa) and I have quite a bit of space at the mouth of the foot pocket (near my instep) with the straps pulled tight. The fins are firm when I do the "side-to-side...

South Florida Dive Boats - last update 5/2013

Just came back from Key Largo and had the opportunity to dive with Silent World. Had a great experience! They were very accomodating and didn't rush us in or out of the water. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a smaller 14 person max boat.
