    We see the terms "balanced rig" and "properly wieghted" quite a bit... Given the attention to these two terms, what is the stigma with regards to steel tanks and wetsuits? Singles / doubles, if you are properly weighted, why not steel? Debate away... :D

    Trip Report: U-853 / Heroine

    Dive Report - 5/20, Clinton CT.

    Did a quick dive with DWJ out on Clinton breakwater.. Vis 3 - 4 feet, water 55 degrees, max depth 12 feet.. Conditions weren't the best, but it was the maiden voyage for DWJ's inflatable.. Worked great. First time for both of us diving off a small inflatable (10'). Worked out well just...

    Wow.. don't know what happened.. Lost all I gained plus an addition 2.5.. Down to 216.. Now a week of vacation, where I will be trying to return at the same weight <fingers crossed> :D Will be gone until Next Tuesday evening.. so I will be reporting late next week...

    Tuesday, April 4th Weigh In

    Today = 222 I lost ONLY 1.5 lbs this week... I was so frustrated at the little bit of weight I lost.. I totally missed the fact that it brings my total weight loss to 25 lbs. That is a MAJOR milestone 25 lbs.. so far.. Down from 247.. but... this is another area of caution for me...
