Hey all, it was good metting up with everyone today at the lake. It had been far too long since I'd blown any bubbles. I got in 2 dives down to about 60' where the water was a cool 53 degrees. Water felt really warm about the 23-27' termocline. Can't wait to get back out for some more dives.

I'm going to be a little late, so I may miss the first dive. My dive computer needs a new battery and I'm going for the cheap insurance of having a dive shop change it. Glad there is a dive shop five minutes up the road from the lake.

I won't be able to make it this year (traveling from Iraq is just too far of a trip...) but my lovely wife and daughter may come up for the fellowship (and food). Joanna had a blast last year and she will probably want to be there this year. Angie will love the heated tent... Brian

If anyone is up for Jocassee Saturday, www.scubashopsc.com still had a few slots open as of this morning on their boats. I'm doing 4 dives up there just to get wet. Don't know if I'll be able to get out on Sunday, but have fun for me if I can't. K... what are you doing playing with snakes...

Argh... I used Google Maps and it added 1 hour / 15 miles to what I get a MapQuest. Oh well. I may need to take that trip next time around...

If I wasn't going up to Jocassee, I'd be in for Saturday. I'll need to check my schedule for the other days of the weekend though. Can't wait to try out the new dive spot. Brian
