Based in their current progress, Carnival 2025 might even be a stretch! I was told they would be past Guido's by the end of August, but they haven't even started that section yet.
I would ditch the book screws and just use two regular STA bolts. Center hole on your BP through the webbing grommet and top hole in your wing. You may need to pre-soak the webbing to stretch it into alignment. If you are not using an STA, then you may also need to play around with bolt lengths...
The Westin does the upscale high-rise hotel thing pretty well, while the Iberostar is more of what I think of as the "AI" experience. The Westin is about as far away from the popular marine park sites as you can get, but they are all mostly a short ride from the Iberostar. The Westin is WAY...
Normally most of the divers are not photographers. I took my camera the last time I went, but was so mesmerized by what I was seeing that I did not want to miss anything, so never even turned it on.
Looks like SAFT are supported and have the best battery life, but poor cold water performance. Based on Shearwater's info they look more like the option of last resort, since apparently the vibration and fuel gauge functions will not work either.
My Perdix 2 exhibits similar behavior where it indicates a full battery on the surface, but reads a lower level during dives, then goes back to full again later. I always start with a fresh set of the recommended type and on the latest firmware, and so far it has made it through every trip...
Aldora leaves from their main dock location in town @ 7:30am then proceed to pick up other drivers. The Presidente is about 4 miles south of town so shouldn't take long, but would depend on what other pickups they have before yours. The time of your returns could vary depending on what sites you...
I have dived it solo many times back when it was called Clear Springs Scuba Park. They changed management in 2018, but have not been there recently so can't speak to their current policies:

Been enjoying the newer steel HP117 tanks that Aldora added to their lineup. Seems these are mostly the standard-issue tank now. Shorter but slightly bigger in diameter, and feel lighter too. Seem to be pretty similar performance to me, just in a more manageable compact package.
I have been very satisfied with Stahlsac products. They have taken some pretty serious beatings over the years and proven very durable. Ironically, I discovered them after one of the shoulder straps failed on my brand new Mares bag during its' madden voyage, and ended up having to find a quick...
No experience with the Teric, but absolutely love my Perdix AI 2. Great reliability, performance, and features; plus its super easy to use, and has a big clear display and customizable layout.
This guy really likes the Teric, but has a few complaints too starting @ 9:00
Reached out to my Atomic dealer regarding availability, specifically for the TFX 2nd stage only. He said pre-orders for the full kit would start shipping July-Aug timeframe. According to his rep the 2nd stage might be available by the end of the year.
