I use a 6mm farmer john and seperate jacket. It's very old so probably does the job of a new 3-4 mm suit. I like that I can just wear the lower half in warmer waters but can easily add the jacket for the colder stuff. I wear both peices for Crystal river and drifting down the Rainbow river...

Kyle, Actually there are several dive spots besides Lake Erie. Any of the dive shops in Columbus will know of and be able to give you directions to all of them. There is also a book I have of sites in Ohio, PA, WV, and IN. Check with Sub Aquatics in Reynoldsburg. I think one of their owners...

Thanks for the report. I signed on with Tropic Vista for 3/27 - 30/2001. I had a buddy just back from there and they had the same experience. Sounds like motel is a place to hang towels but boat and capt are very good. Regards,

Very good point DiveGal, about the local lingo always influencing any language. It just seems to me that although we all learn our scuba skills from different agencies, we still all perform mostly the same skills for the same reasons. It would be nice not to have to verify our signals with boat...
