Oops - posted in the June thread by mistake! Mntdiver and Sapphire will be at La Ceiba from July 3 - 10 with our niece, a brand new diver and HS graduate who will be headed to UC Santa Cruz in the fall to study Marine Biology. Have not been to Coz in 6 or so years so have not decided on...

You can add Mntdiver and Sapphire, plus niece Katja (celebrating her HS graduation with a warm-water dive trip) - staying at La Ceiba, not sure who we are diving with yet! Have not been to Coz in about 6 years = looking forward!

I would definitely go the Cod Hole/Coral Sea itinerary that takes you to Osprey Reef. Its a long trip but the diving is extraordinary, the shark feed is fascinating. We like the Ribbon Reefs but Osprey Reef is awesome! Jennifer

OK - this is another bummer for us, for Sask and roegenwalder. Evidently the Nimrod Explorer is not working and the trip going out the 29th is cancelled altogether. We are looking into other options that might fit into our timetables for travelling. Shoot! Jennifer

Well, no diving on the Yongala the 26th or 27th due to conditions... winds 20-25 knots and they could not go out :-(. We spent our time in Townsville touring the Reef HQ aquarium and took a ferry to Magnetic Island today. It was a great day, we saw a koala, rock wallabies and a possum... fun...
