Hey guys i have an older pro watt light that i use as my primary. It has one of the test tube bulb covers and i recently broke it. Does anyone have a source for these test tube lenses or even an old pro watt light that you would part with cheap.
My problem wasnt the seat or the diaphram it was the pin length. also in regard to these things being old and dangerous ...i call bs on that. ALL regulators made whether the top of the line newest or the old double hose are mechanical devices. Parts can fail, break, be out of spec (even brand...
thanks for the input . I was thinking this thing should last longer than 3 months without needing to replace the diaphragm.

well i made a 1/16 thick shim placed it uner the pin in the mushroom head and fixed my problem right up.
yeah not having a problem with the HP seat but i think im getting too much compression of the diaphram making my pin too short..or vice versa. I love diving with my reg but i never know if its gong to work when i hook it up..I need to get this thing more reliable so i can use it more...
fill the tank and dive as air.. dont pay attention to all the scientific , lets calculate each and every percent of 02.. I say BS.. its not needed your not going to be anywhere near your maximum exposure for oxygen and setting your computer for air on the subsequent dives just gives you a bit of...
yeah its the standard mushroom cap and the standard base under the spring. the rubber diaphram is compressing and the mushroom head is embedded into the diaphram

Hello i was wondering if anyone on here has this same issue. I have a DA aquamaster and i bought the rebuild kit from vintage double hose. Good quality parts and after i installed them everything worked great. After about 3 months i put my reg on my tank and turned the pressure on and nothing on...
well scrubbing co2 out of the breathing air makes more of a difference than you might think.. Most shop air has between 200-400ppm C02. Our bodies discard C02 in the same way we absorb nitrogen by partial pressure gas exchange.. so at 150 feet for instance our bodies have to load to an...
Has anyone here ever used CO2 scrubbers in their post compressor filtration system? I have my own compressor set up and i pack my own filters. right after my hopcalite which turns CO to CO2 i have a CO2 scrubber. This has helped a lot with headaches/narcosis as my CO2 levels are less than 10ppm...
we did the hutton with tems around 70 degrees with viz in the 30-35 foot range. Shurz with temps 74ish with viz 40-50 foot and the U352 with temps 74ish with 40-50 ft viz and we did a total of 4 dives over 2 days..
