One of my instructors where telling me that Bonne Terre mine in MO has a "town" deep in the mine. She was saying that since the miners where in the mine for 3-5 days at a time, they built bunk houses and the like. Said it is a real cool dive.

I did my ow certs there in 05 and it was awesome!! I was planning on going back this year till I got hurt at work over the winter. When I go back it will definitely be dry though. There are some really cool things to see even on trails 1-4. Hope you make it down there.
