I have the 16 (bought it because I am an engineer and like the 1 sec data collection).
Unless they are right next to each other the temps will read different. I got to talk to an former Cochran Engineer before i bought mine at Beneath the Sea. Even stacked in a monitored tank 5 units all read...
The square you are seeing is the actual LED chip. I have the mb-sub X1-VB and at it's most focused it looks close to the PA state keystone. the beam varies from 3degrees to 25 degrees. It is only 220 lumen. The halo is from the fresnel lens. I have no problem with it.
I don't think Xdeep makes them anymore. They had issues. The one online store I deal with is Dive Right in Scuba and they sent out an email a while ago stating they weren't going to carry them any more. Divesoft makes a similar style and is upgradeable. Here is a link
Freedom Basic Nitrox Dive...
According to their web site they don't seem to be making the 4X-PG but their internet distributor Back-up Lights shows they have them.
Biggest issue is you're in the US so if the light goes bad getting it repaired or replaced might be an issue. Check out Dive RIght in Scuba. They have some good...
ScubaPro's Dive computers definitely needed some new life. However in acquiring Sea Bear their first order of business was to reassign the SeaBear T1 to only rebreathers. Therefore eliminating it from competing with the Galileos and Aladin Square. The H3 is an alternative to their wrist/eatch...
They were committed to delivering the best. Once they sold out to ScubaPro they limit the T1 availability and how long before the H3 is relabeled a ScubaPro product?
Thanks for catching that. I was looking for salinity not water(H2O) density. The unit's default setting is for EN13319. Being an engineer I will add this, Thank you Shearwater.
A cubic meter of pure water has a mass of 1000kg
Some guidelines:
Fresh Water = 1000kg/m³
EN13319 = 1020 kg/m³...
Lithium Energizer AAA batteries (from what I could find) have about 1250mAh of discharge (burn time). Eagletac and Panasonic both have 18650 Lithium-ion batteries with 3400mAh ratings (this equates to a longer burn time). You should be able to find the 18650s online but here is a link to the...
