Half day dives out of Kata, Phuket

Great. Getting back at 6pm is a bit late for us so I guess we'll stick to the dives near Kata. I'll definitely give you a bit more notice than the day before so should all be gravy. Booked in for mid march, I'll let you know closer to the date. Thanks

Half day dives out of Kata, Phuket

Thanks for the response Steven. Would there be any shorter day trips that you think might work for us? I would really love to get out to shark point/anemone reef but from my research it seems like it's a long day for a double dive. How much notice would you require for us to book with you?

Half day dives out of Kata, Phuket

Hi guys I posted a little while ago about bringing toddlers to Phuket. We've decided on staying on Kata and use their babysitting services but we'll probably only do half day trips so we can spend time with the kids too. I guess most importantly are the shore dives worth doing? We haven't...

Phuket or phi phi with toddlers

Apologies, just logged in and saw these responses. We are considering bringing a grandparent, mainly so we can enjoy a bit of nightlife too. I've never used international child care so am unaware of the quality. We are leaning towards phi phi due to the convenience for diving. Can anyone...

Phuket or phi phi with toddlers

Thanks Steven. I notice you're located on Phuket. Are there any sites you think are must see that we could do as a day trip? I've never dived the Andaman before and want to make sure I experience the best I possibly can in the short time we have.

Phuket or phi phi with toddlers

Hi guys We've just booked flights to Phuket in March 2017 for 2 weeks. We'll have a 1 year old and a 3 year old with us. I've been to Phuket before but not with kids. I'm pretty green regarding travelling with kids because all our other holidays we have had family help look after them. Ideally...

    Shore diving Kau'ai

Hi guys Just finished up a fantastic week in Maui with scubashack - we're now in Kau'ai for my sisters wedding and would love to sneak in a few dives around the schedule. All of the dive operators are exclusively on the south side at this time of year but I'm in Princeville - is there any safe...

Best island to visit for first timer

Hi guys As part of the world trip we're passing through Hawaii for a wedding on Kauai at the end of October. We are there for a week and we'll try to sneak a few dives in. However we'd like to try another island too as we have a week not booked yet. So, excluding kauai, what is the best "bang...

    Advice on where to dive

Hi guys, My partner and I are going to be in california mid october for a fortnight. We're pretty keen to get in the water although I have absolutely no idea what the diving is like. So where would you all recommend we go? We'd prefer to pick one location and do maybe 4 or 5 days in the water...

Last minute trip to Thailand - need help!

Thanks for your prompt replies guys. I think Koh Tao is probably the best bet as we will only be travelling on a transit visa (2 weeks) on our way to Malaysia. Can anyone recommend a good outfit to do AOW and fun dives, preferably with accommodation included in the package? In Cambodia we...

Last minute trip to Thailand - need help!

Hi guys We're on a RTW trip and we have a few weeks to kill. We've decided we'd like to do some diving in Thailand. From what I've read, the gulf of thailand seems like the place to be at this time of year. Is the best option Koh Tao? We will be in the perhentians in malaysia in about a months...
