I'm in philly for a day off and was gonna drive out to Dutch for a few dives that day. I'm renting tanks and weights from Atlantis. Not sure about time yet probably around 11 or 12 due to rental car pickup and drive.

Just did a dive at Twin Quarries this evening. Water temp was 73, and viz is about 10 to 12 feet. It's really stirred up, with pollen from the trees, and what we can only assume is whatever the underwater flora use as pollen. Temp wasn't bad though in a 3mil with gloves. Not a bad day...

For what it's worth, I did it in a Aqualung Farmer John, 4/7 hood, 5mm boots and gloves, only thing that got cold on me was the feet. But I always have cold feet/bad circulation. Even in summer time...

Last weekend (the 19th), it was 48 degrees at about 60 feet, and 45 at 90 feet according to my computer...Viz was pretty good even later in the afternoon it was still probably 40 feet or more (which for what I'm used to that's great!)

TS, it wasn't really serious, just poking fun at the idea of renaming the wheel again with the whole "Eco" kick. I know that a good flutter won't disturb the sand, was using it while I was in Tangalooma/Moreton Island two weeks ago.

But what about those of us that can't Frog Eco Kick due to physical reasons. I blew out my knee right before Christmas, and was doing some diving the last two weeks I was in Australia for work, and well tried the Frog Kick, and thought I had blown it out again....

Thanks for the info. I'm going to be out on the Motley Crue tour, so I won't really have the ability to drive anywhere. It's all based around when we are flying now too. That looks like the only places I'll have a chance to dive as we the longest break in either Brisbane or Mackay...
