10 -15 ft viz and 68 degrees? thats horrible!!! i was at the north dam park sept 6-8 and the viz was 20-25 ft and at 30 ft the h2o was 78 degrees!!! i am heading there oct 6-8 with 2 new divers and all i have done is brag about the water temp and viz. ooops

hey b, went to table rock on march 6-7, water is a cold 43 degrees, viz at the dam was 8-12 ft down to 70 foot depth after that it quickley drops to 2-3 ft. the lake is looooowwww.

hey there, we dove all over table rock this past week,below 30' the viz is horrible!!!!! on the south end of the lake!!! maybe a foot if your lucky. norht end of the lake isnt much better. we dove down to 130 and you barley see anything even with a light. above 30 is about 5'-10'. surface temps...

i just had the same question about a month ago, i read more forums and thread on that subject and even called over 25 dive shops around the country and every single one of them had ther own opion, i went with the shoulder dump and like it but there are alot of valid argumenrts for both , good luck

i have just bought a recon and i like it, but!!!!!! become one with your gear and know it better than you know your dive buddy, practice often with it and get real comfortable, know how to handle any emergency with it and use good common sence, good luck

i was there yesterday, water as 60 topside and in mid to low 50s down under, viz was great above 40 ft 25+, best i have ever seen it, below 40 was the worst i have ever seen it, maybe 2-5 ft and the deeper you go doesnt help. the water is lowwwww! the air cave is truely a "air cave" and 1/2 out...

cool report thanks we were there mid may and looks like things havent changed much, were do you find crawdads???? most of my dives have been at trl and the only crawdad i have seen was a dead on that my buddy found?

we dove tr lake mid may and the viz above 20 ft was really poor very easy to loose your buddy, but below 20-30 ft was good, indian point wAS the worst just really crappy viz, we had a boat and back in the coves were really good 25+, i am heading to bever this weekend any info would be great/ thanks
