Those temps seem about right for Moosehead in late summer, below 40' is where the temp makes the biggest drop and the light starts to wain. Wind direction and speed make a huge difference in water temps there
The guy on steamship point did not seem very friendly when we dove off his land, he tried to tell us it was illegal to dive the twilight steamship. We ignored him and had a couple of great dives

You may want to try one of the Plymouth dive sites, they are a little more interesting and not difficult. Whitehorse beach comes to mind, lots of boulders and marine life

We dove Greenville junction @ the Twilight Wreck. the vis was poor maybe 12' I think due to all the rain run off. The surface temp was 76 and 62 down to about 30 feet or so.

I think the OP means 2 1st stages with a lp line between them and I suppose that you could have a 2nd stage off of either or both 1st stages. Correct me if I am wrong?
