    Closed: White's Fusion One Drysuit

Why should I wait for you to make a decision when I could sell it? Not to mention the fact that you've been through this routine a number of time with other people and their drysuits. I'm not going to lose a sure sale because you may or may not want it.

    Closed: White's Fusion One Drysuit

The seals are in good shape. I'm not sure how many rings were cut from them, but I can give you my neck and wrist measurements. My neck is 18" around and my wrists are 8" around. I wear the seals pretty snug though. It does come with a pair of rock boots that are size 11 or 12. It also...

    Sandals Scuba Medical Certification?

I went to Sandals in Ocho Rios some years ago with friends that were doing the resort course for scuba. I was told that if I wanted to dive with them, I would have to take the resort course too. They have some stupid rules at Sandals.

Prescription mask worth getting or not ?

Yes, because that's all that I said. When everybody else is saying to get them, they are worth it. Point is, just because you wear glasses doesn't mean you need a prescription mask. But thanks for your helpful reply.

Prescription mask worth getting or not ?

I've worn glasses most of my life and don't need a prescription mask to see perfectly clear underwater. Buy a mask that fits you well and try it without prescription lenses. You may find that you don't need them underwater. If you find that you do, there are many places you can send the mask...

Food to eat before and in between dives

Peanut butter and jelly. It has everything you need. I always bring a couple pounds of cherries on the boat. Everyone loves them and they seem to hit the spot.

Ever get pain on bottom of nose from your mask?

Do you have the Plus or the Plus with purge? I've used the Plus with purge and it hurts my nose. The Plus without the purge is no problem.

    Handing Off a Pony Bottle

No, it's not a joke. Please tell me what skill you could possibly have, other then seeing into the future, that would allow you to 100% guarantee that you won't have an equipment failure at depth? And that doesn't sound harsh because I can see that you have reading comprehension problems. I...

    Handing Off a Pony Bottle

I don't imagine any event on my ascent unless my panicked buddy is sucking air so hard that I go OOA. Which of course is very unlikely. But there is no need to unclip my pony and hand it over when the air on my back works just a good. If I carried my pony bottle on my back, this wouldn't...

    Handing Off a Pony Bottle

This isn't entirely true. First, when diving with a buddy, what is the point of planning to use the extra gas if your buddy doesn't have enough gas for the same length of dive? If my sac rate is lower then my buddy's, and I have a steel 108 and they have an AL80, what good will the extra gas...

    Handing Off a Pony Bottle

I've already answered these earlier, but here goes. I don't donate my pony bottle because it is my "Get out of trouble free" gas. I bring it to avoid a catastrophic disaster. I do have an alternative plan if my buddy goes OOA. It's exactly the same as someone that doesn't bring a pony...

    Handing Off a Pony Bottle

The person carrying the pony bottle. To me, including my "get out of trouble free" air is just asking for trouble. But, I also dive a steel 108, so I usually have plenty of air. I only bring the pony when I plan on diving deep.

    Handing Off a Pony Bottle

A pony bottle is never part of your dive planning. Therefore, it doesn't exist. It is not an additional resource to extend a dive. I bring it in case of a catastrophic disaster . Buddies can feel free to bring their own and use it how they see fit. Now, don't take that as "if my buddy goes...

    Handing Off a Pony Bottle

I would never hand off my pony bottle. I don't bring it to provide an OOA buddy with air. It is a last resort. If my buddy goes OOA, they get my primary and I switch to my Air2. My pony bottle is in case I go OOA.

Help choose the right BC & regulator system

My point was that when you are horizontal, the air in a jacket and back inflate BC will be in the same location. So there is no difference. One is not better then the other. It's all about preference. Some people here say that back inflate is better because when horizontal, the air in a back...

Help choose the right BC & regulator system

Between jacket or back inflate, one is not better then the other in any circumstance. When diving a jacket, if you are horizontal, the air goes to the back. The air will always be at the highest point of the BC. You fix your trim with weight, not a different type of BC. I've been diving a...

Starting Classes Tomorrow - Advice Needed!

Congrats on finishing your pool sessions. And I can't wait for mid-40s water temps. I've done open waters the past two weekends and the water temp has been 39 degrees. It will probably be pretty close to that this weekend too.
