I'm using corn starch baby powder, not talcum. And yes, I keep them out of direct sunlight as much as possible. I've tried showas as well. Liked the 720s (nitrile) best, but they just don't have the flexibility and comfort I get with the Santi latex. What kind of silicone spray are you using?

I'm using Santi textured gloves and the fingers are starting to stick together. I usually let them air dry and then dust with baby powder before putting them in an air-tight bag, but I read something somewhere about treating them with silicone spray. Anybody know anything about that?

I wear an FLX because I got a sweet deal on it, but I know people who have Santi suits and are very happy with them. The posters above me are right: you can't go wrong either way. I would opt for latex seals over silicone as latex tends to be more robust. Just dab on a little personal lubricant...

Great idea. I did that with my DUI and it made a big difference.

The suit would be approx 7 years old. It's a Whites suit, from before they were bought out by Aqualung. Having said that, the wrist seals were replaced two summers ago and the neck seal the summer before that, and the skin is a Bullet, upgraded from the original Tech skin about four years ago.

I've just gone to an FLX after almost six years in a Fusion. I'm still getting used to it -- buoyancy, weighting, trimming out, dumping gas, etc. -- but whoever compared getting into and out of the Fusion to a WWE match, be assured that's still the case with the FLX. But that's just me. YMMV.

Do you have to trim your wrist seals a little wider to accommodate them? Maybe too wide to get a seal without them?

The only problem I ever had with the Si-Tech Quickglove system was the occasional problem taking them off after a dive. I usually found that a little personal lubricant (KY jelly or the like -- water-based so easy cleanup) on the O-ring was enough to prevent that.
