I thought the color temp was fine. Likely won't be an issue for you, unless you are super picky about color temps. As a point of reference, we compared the Sofirn to a Bigblue TL4800P and the Sofirn color wasn't as cool as the Bigblue, (a little warmer) but is still at the cooler end of the scale.

I wanted to share a detailed video review of the XTAR D26 1600

If you unscrew the battery tube slightly, about 1/8 of a turn or so the light won't turn on. When you need to use, re-tighten, press power button and you are good to go.

I’ve been testing the XTAR D36 5800 and just posted a video review. The light can be used as both a flood light and a spot light. I like having the light mounted as my primary video light and switching to the spot light when not doing video or searching for critters. Any questions, let me know.
