Fire on dive boat Conception in CA

What a shocking tragedy. My thoughts are with all involved and I hope the vast majority made it out and to land.

Brinyte DIV10 "3000 Lumen" Canister light Review

Is the DIV20 canister light really available yet? It's easy to find the DIV10 canister light from many sellers but I can only find the Brinyte listing on Alibaba for the DIV20 (with two light heads, and at too high a price to make worthwhile).

Ordered Light from LDS. Two months later still hasn't arrived

Thanks for letting us know the conclusion. I think you should let us know the shop but your call. At least you got your refund, next time use a credit card! Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Ordered Light from LDS. Two months later still hasn't arrived

As we said before, charge back through credit card company. This is outrageous. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Ordered Light from LDS. Two months later still hasn't arrived

Tell them you're going to dispute it with your credit card issuer and if they don't immediately give you a refund, go ahead and do so. What you're describing is completely unacceptable.

    One question

That's an arbitrary semantic line. Unless padi's tests were with skipping the safety stop to me this is a required stop. All dives are decompression dives (well, ignoring ultra shallow ones), although ndl dives clear you with a slow ascent, leaving an optional safety stop. The PADI rdp is very...

    One question

Fair enough. EDIT: Just to confirm, you wouldn't feel good about skipping the "mandatory safety-stop" though, right? I'm guessing PADI's data always included those for where it's listed as mandatory.

    One question

Of course it gives even more mandatory deco :) (as would anything else running Bulhmann) 30/85: 40' 1m 30' 1m 20' 3m 10' 5m 100/100: 10' 3:30m Wouldn't you agree that it's not a great idea to dive to navy tables though? I also realize that PADI isn't necessarily more aggressive than others...

    One question

Keep in mind that the PADI tables are fairly aggressive though. If I run to the "black" on air @ 100 ft (20 minutes), then multideco using Bulhmann 30/85 and 60fpm ascent gives me the following deco schedule: 40' 1min 30' 1min 20' 1min 10' 3min If I use Buhlman 100/100, it gives me 1:30 at 10'...

    Sell or Trade Faber Hp100

Just one? I'm trying to trade a pair of 120s (currently assembled as doubles, but can split them) for a pair of 100s (in San Diego).

My double HP120s for your double HP100s // SoCal

Looking to trade my double HP120s for double HP100s. They're PSTs. Last hydro was 6/13. Happy to just swap the tanks and each retain bands/manifolds but either way is fine. I'm in San Diego but get up to LA occasionally, so anywhere around SoCal is reasonable.

Hi all, I have a Suunto Vytec with transmitter in good condition for sale. There are a few scratches on the screen protector, but nothing major (and these are replaceable). New battery in the computer (but also easy to buy and change yourself in the future). Comes with PC cable for...

    Lithium Powered Cuda 400 --> 800 Project

Hi Damien, This is really interesting. Can I ask who you used as the Chinese supplier for the pack? I'm considering doing something similar for a Sierra, but the dimensions get a little trickier as it's obviously smaller. Joe
