I Love lembeh, but for me, snorkeling its a lot better in bangka or bunaken....:cool:

Umh.. did you prefer good snorkeling just out of the room or snorkeling trips with the boat? 😅 never been to wakatobi but Komodo is mostly snorkeling with the boat and if you share the boat with divers sometimes you have to skip snorkeling in some dive places because they aren’t safe and snorkel...

Eheh my friend.. we skipped immediately the shallow part and stay almost 35-40min at -20m… 😭😅😜 unlucky as usual.. 🥶🤣

lucky man!! dived manta point the 23 of august... water temp was 23°... waves.... and almost zero manta... 2 faraway in the foggy water :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: 1000 divers/snorkelers..:mad: 100 boats....:eek: was my third time there since 2008... never had a good dive there...

Sorry Dan.. I forgot to reply.. 😅😅 When we do that dive we are only two boat in the area.. the swell was really huge and we take the pills for sea sickness.. 🤮 We do a nice night dive in loh sera bay and in the morning German flag with two mantas… then we come back to the bay(boat surfing 🤮)...

great point... i totally agree... i've only a little more than 100dives in komodo and I know well the technique of hiding in the shadow .. as an avid underwater photographer it is the only way to "survive" with a big smile!! what a fun!!! we have a bad experience only in one dive in the south...

Arghhh.. not so easy.. I was lucky because I stayed there a lot of time.. 3 weeks last year.. in 2016 I stayed one month… dived every day 3dive day.. only one day off.. bangka dugongs are very shy.. one second and they disappear.. the easiest place where I saw dugongs in the wild was Red Sea.. 😅

I stayed there one week in 2018 and two weeks in 2019.. no mines at that time .. the viz was low inside the bay and also same on the faraway northern dive spots in open ocean.. but the diving was so beautiful (coral fish macro) that I can come back now! 😍

Yes.. in the last years weather was really strange… until 2018 in august I never saw rain.. wind season at its best.. in august 2019 some rainy day.. in 2022 a lot more… and was full dry season.. 😅😅

Ehhh.. we Know your rules but when we stayed one week at your resort in lembeh we generously tipped our dive guide + the boat guys and also the main staff at the checkout.. sorry! 😉
