The HOG regs actually came out about 300$ cheaper than Apeks

I haven't had enough dives to really experiment with weight, I'm naturally negatively buoyant though. I don't want to use a weight belt and want to get as close to neutrally buoyant as I can. Why not use Steel if you don't mind me asking? I figure SS will give me a little more weight and make me a little more negative in the Saltwater, most of my dives will be in the ocean.

Alright, now what is the real difference between brands for wings? I am set on wanting a donut wing but does brand really make a difference here?

So everyone pretty much agrees that just a basic harness which is roughly under 100$ is the way to go versus buying like the full harness with backpads and such that run upwards of 300-400$? I just feel like the basic harness with the metal backplate right on your back would be uncomfortable, no?
