I've only used the Nauticam housing and haven't had any problems with vignetting. A lot of my footage is taken at the len's widest with no zoom. I attached a picture of my screen with the camera zoomed all the way out.
Same for me and my wife. In particular, I would say the end of the dives spent in the shallows greatly improved our buoyancy (and also taught us that lots of critters hang in the rubble and sand).
Most Maui shops also carry 63s--something to consider for some of the sites that require stairs or lots of walking (Slaughterhouse / Honolua Bay).
You'll find that many Maui sites are so shallow that you'll surface because you're cold rather than low on air.

Looking at a map of the dive sites, it looks like most sites are cluttered around the southwest point. My wife gets seasick easily, so short and smooth boat rides are important for us. Would you say the boat rides are generally smoother diving from the Grand Anse area or from the True Blue side?
I read the same thing...of course, after several days of diving there. Apparently, the pollutants are from the stream there.
