I bid on a couple but prices went higher than I wanted to pay. Settled on a Mares Quad. Got a great deal and I think it has everything I need, going to keep it cheap and simple since none of these companies seem to be very good for computers long term.

great article, I might try the "snipe" bit and see. I am also really considering buying the Mares Quad as an inexpensive alternative. Kind of frustrated with Scubapro.

Are transmitters brand specific or will they pair with anything? I have one from a Galileo that is perfectly fine, computer died and I would prefer to try another brand. Was hoping I could use this transmitter. thanks. See Post #9 and post #33 for current summary

You may have seen my other threads. My Sol just fried (according to Scubapro). I have a transmitter and heart rate monitor. Looking for a sol or luna used, cheap. Really frustrated with Scubapro and their support so I won't pay much. Will pay up to $300. Must have a decent battery. thanks.

My Galileo died. Not going to replace it so I have a perfectly good tank pressure transmitter and heart rate monitor for sale if anyone is interested. Battery is about a year old. should work with any Sol or Luna. Can include the original case if you need it. both for $250 or BO

Just heard from Scubapro - according to them computer is fried nothing they can do, suggested buying a new one. It makes me really curious to know how a computer that was working perfectly could get fried while doing a firmware upgrade. Oh well, no more Scubapro computers for me.
