Welcome to the Aqua Lung forum

They don't sell replacement parts direct to consumers- you have to use an authorized dealer.

Welcome to the Aqua Lung forum

Aqua Lung, I am having a horrible experience with your customer service. It has taken 4 months to get anything to happen. Now you are unwilling to hold up your end of the warranty because I have professional credentials? I am extremely unhappy and find it disgusting that you punish people who...

Best place for IDC on Caribbean coast of CR or Bocas del Toro?

Hi everyone, I'm a PADI and SDI Divemaster ready for the next step and was wondering if anyone has done the IDC in Bocas (VERY close to me in Caribe sur, CR) or elsewhere perhaps I don't know of a place on the caribbean side of CR? It takes 2 days to get to the west coast by bus, and I have a...

    Costa Rica 2014

I went to the Catalinas from Guanacaste with Rich Coast- they were great and the boat is very nice. We even saw some sea turles mating and the captain cut the motors for a few minutes (a little voyeuristic, maybe? ;) Great Photos, OP - I want to invest in an underwater camera - what do you...

is there anything missing from the dive industry?

I just saw this today. I wrote the manufacturer asking why it says specifically not to use it for breathing from a scuba tank... is it because of lack of filtration? How can I filter the air safely? It seems brilliant to me and a great price. Very tempted to get it and experiment, but if...

    Online/E-Learning OWSDI Questions

Hello, I'm currently a PADI Divemaster, but am more interested in SDI and TDI for becoming an instructor for various reasons. Anyway, I see that you have elearning for OWSDI and I can't find out much about what I need to do if I take it after I am finished. It's quite pricey compared to Padi...

    Building a compressor?

Yes, I am slightly concerned about accidentally making a... shrapnel exploding mechanism as opposed to a booster or compressor. gasoline-driven seems fine. i think i should find someone to build it for me though- I have never been very good at (ok, i'm horrible at) following directions. :D

    Building a compressor?

I live in a remote beach town with 2 dive "shops" that won't sell air, only their "fun dive" packages. The idea of having to build my own compressor is much more acceptable than never being able to dive again. Has anyone here done this? Importing a personal one is not possible because of the...

    pura vida from costa rica

Hi everyone, I live on the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica and am wondering if anyone else is too? I am currently doing the PADI rescue diver e-learning... just because. I am actually interested in deep diving (decompression), but there isn't' much here below 100'. I have a baby and...
