Question Sony a6000 18105f4 Wet Diopter

I've been using the Sony a6000 with the 1650 kit lens in a Meicam housing for the past four years, taking macro shots using wet diopters and video lights. I've bought a TG6 and a Sea Frogs housing and been shooting some macro, just missing the full manual option. I've also upgraded my a6000...

    a6000/6xxx settings when shooting

The Symbiosis SS2 strobe has GN32 and a 2000 Lumen video light attached. The strobe can be run in M (Level 1-15), TTL close up (1-8), TTL larger objects (1-8) and strobe (1-100). I can run focusing light at three levels as well as red light at two levels. I usually set them at TTL close up...

    a6000/6xxx settings when shooting

So I have to admit, I have never taken a professional UW photography class or attended a seminar. I am PADI OWSI and redundant diver certified, taught in Thailand a few years and now spend 3-4 months a year mostly solo diving Kata Beach and surrounding dive spots always with my camera. My camera...

    Salted Line/Sony a6300/Sony 18-105mm f:4.0

Wow, lots of information here, much of it way over my head ha ha. Where I do my diving (mostly Kata Beach, Phuket, Thailand), I look for macro and the occasional octopus, mimic when lucky. I've come to the conclusion that I really don't like pushing a huge rig around and it can be very hard to...

    Salted Line/Sony a6300/Sony 18-105mm f:4.0

Thank you for the post, that's an interesting problem. I don't care about the 18105 working with a dome port but if it has the same problem with a flat port, well that would be no good. I have not made the purchase yet, just replaced my flooded a6000 and 1650 kit lens so far.

    Salted Line/Sony a6300/Sony 18-105mm f:4.0

Been using a Sony a6000 with 16-50mm kit lens in Meikon housing with wet macro lenses but unfortunately flooded it. I really want to now upgrade to SL housing, a6300/6400, 18-105mm f:4.0 lens but the suitable flat port does not have the 67mm thread for external wet macro lens mounting. SeaFrogs...
